16 oz liquid Jar Manufactured by Mid South Ceramic Supply Co.
Our washes include not only a colorant, but also several other materials to help with brush flow, attachment, fit and results! You can obtain different results when using our washes compared to just raw materials and water. However, you will notice consistency and the interactions with glazes – either over or under – will be more successful!
Cobalt Wash- Pink in the raw state and blue after firing. Use under or over white or other colors of glaze for a cobalt blue design after firing.
Copper Wash-Green after firing. Use under or over light color glazes to create green after firing.
Manganese Dioxide-Black after firing. Creates a black line under or over light color glazes. Will fade if not applied well.
